Reflecting on DLL’s Efforts during COVID-19

As we pass the one-year anniversary of COVID-19 affecting teaching and learning at UNC-Chapel Hill, it allows our organization to consider the work that we’ve done to support these efforts across campus, what needs have changed over the past year, and the long-term implications of our mission to support of online learning at UNC-Chapel Hill. Below is a quick summary of some of the efforts taken by DLL to support online learning across campus since COVID-19.

UNC-Chapel Hill waives tuition and fees for online RN Refresher program to help NC RNs fight COVID-19

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is helping to address the state’s nursing shortage in light of the COVID-19 outbreak. Today the UNC-Chapel Hill Friday Center for Continuing EducationUNC-Chapel Hill School of Nursing and the North Carolina Area Health Education Centers Program announced they have waived tuition and fees for an accelerated version of their online, self-paced Registered Nurse Refresher theory course for April.
